The Areas I Cover

I cover the whole of Dartmoor Area and anywhere within an hour's drive from my base at Brentor, including Tavistock, Yelverton, Plymouth, Okehampton, Ashburton, Buckfastleigh and Launceston.

I am also happy to travel further afield but may have to charge additional travel costs. I can also do planting plans from photos or videos of the space if needed.

Garden Design

A full garden design service will include:

Site Visits - To see the site and get to know you and your vision for the garden.
Site Survey - Full survey of site including soil samples.
Concept Plans - Hand drawn scale plan showing the new vision for the garden.
Planting Plans - Hand drawn plans detailing every plant featured in the beds/borders.
Working Plans – Full hand drawn technical working plan which can be passed over to landscaping contractors.

Cost will depend on the size and complexity of the garden so please contact me for a quotation.

Quotes will be given before any design work begins with a detailed summary of what the project will include.

Garden Consultation

As an experienced RHS qualified gardener, I can offer garden consultation and advice for:

General garden issues
Ideas and inspiration
Siting garden features
Plant and growing advice
The possibility of partial or full garden design

I will produce a detailed written report outlining the results of my visit.

Garden consultation is £75 (plus travel expenses if over an hour away)

Planting Design

You may just be looking to renovate existing borders or create new flower beds in your garden. There may be a particular area where you struggle for inspiration or to get plants to grow. I am here to help with beds and borders of any size.

New individual borders: From £75 + £10 per m²
Plant procurement: From £30
On-site laying out and planting: £35 per hr.
